Framing

We use only superior quality Treated Douglas Fir Framing Lumber...

Layout planning is critical to efficient planning and managing next steps.

• Cull and select studs
• Check for flatness with a level
• Use form aligners to level walls
• Plane studs when necessary

We frame solid corners - we do not depend on sheetrock for strength.

When we build it, we want it to last, so...

...galvanized nails are used as they do not corrode, and they do not pull out.

We use plywood instead of Oriented Strand Board (OSB), for its superior durability.

We place a lot of emphasis on constructing tight, flat, solid floor decking.

We apply glue to each floor joist, then screw down the decking...
